Experience
I am A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice and the University of Silesia with a degree in art history, and I am the co-founder of the Group of Deaf Artist.
I currently work in the Education Department of the Silesian Museum in Katowice. I am a lecturer in the history of art for the deaf. I coordinate activities in Polish and international sign language, cooperation with the Deaf community in collecting materials for the multimedia repository, research in sign language, queries, coordination of film recordings.
I popularize art in the deaf community through lectures, conferences and the seminar "The art of connecting" in the Silesian Museum.
I was the curator of the exhibition "Głusza" from 2022 to 2023 in the Silesian Museum in Katowice. It showed the fate of friendship and love.
I have a strong interest in history, art history.
I am currently focusing on finding the best way to visualize the concepts of sign language related to art. I am working on my PhD thesis: "A dictionary in sign language about art and art theory for deaf artists."
Examples of Work
I now work as an educator for the deaf at the Silesian Museum in Katowice. I was the curator of the Głusza exhibition at the Silesian Museum from 2022 to 2023. I lecture on art history for the deaf and deal with sign language dictionaries about art.
I deal with art history of deaf artists and De Via art from the USA.
